What this app is
byMissa Tools is a friendly reference guide for part-time laser business owners. It is educational content only, not professional, safety, engineering, medical, legal, or financial advice. Your machine, your material, your judgement.
Your machine's manual wins every time.
If anything in this app conflicts with your laser manufacturer's manual, a material's spec sheet, or local fire code, follow the manual, spec sheet, or code. Every time.
Test on scrap first.
Settings never transfer perfectly between machines, tubes, lens conditions, or material batches. Every setting in this app is a starting point. Test on scrap before you cut a real project.
Never leave a running laser unattended.
Not for a bathroom break. Not to grab a coffee. Fire watch is on you.
Materials you never laser.
PVC, vinyl of unknown origin, ABS, polycarbonate, coated MDF of unknown origin, and any material without a manufacturer spec sheet confirming laser-safety. When in doubt, don't.
Assumption of risk.
By using byMissa Tools you acknowledge that laser cutting and engraving carry inherent risks including fire, toxic fumes, eye injury, and property damage. You are responsible for your safety, your workspace, your ventilation, your fire suppression, and your compliance with any applicable laws.
No warranty.
The app is provided "as is." I try hard to make the content accurate and honest, but I make no guarantee that every fix, setting, or price will work for your setup, your customers, or your market.
Subscription and billing.
Membership is a paid subscription. Cancel anytime, you keep access until the end of your billing period. Founding member pricing is locked in as long as your subscription stays active without lapsing.
Content ownership.
The written guides, fixes, and materials on byMissa Tools are copyright byMissa Tools. You may use them to run your own business; you may not repackage or resell them.
Changes.
I'll update these terms as the app grows. Meaningful changes will be flagged in-app.
